TURNING STUDENTS INTO ARTIST ENTREPRENEURS

Georgia State’s innovation and dedication are on full display in the College of the Arts. Our students and faculty are editors, illustrators, improvisers, art historians, altos, cinematographers, band leaders, UX designers, storytellers, sculptors, gaffers, printmakers and so much more. The rich heart of downtown Atlanta is our laboratory, our playground, our studio and our stage.

GIVE CREATIVITY. SUPPORT THE COLLEGE OF THE ARTS.

FUNDING PRIORITIES:

Fund for the School of Film, Media and Theatre

To Cannes and beyond! This year, your gift to FMT will launch the next generation of visual storytellers into the film festival circuit and send our PhD scholars to conferences and the next step in their careers.

School of Art & Design

Our galleries--where works from undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, former faculty and other noted artists from around the world are showcased for our community--are in need of sprucing up!  Give the gift of a polished, professional showplace for all our WSAD creativity!

GSU Fund for the Rialto Center

Bring unforgettable performances in world music, jazz and dance right into the heart of Downtown Atlanta!

Music Director's Fund

The hero of the School of Music; the Music Director's Fund saves the day by supplementing scholarships, booking guest artists, and sending faculty and students on research trips! This fund has been working hard this year and could use your help.

Allegro Fund

End-of-semester grants directly to College of the Arts students as they bring their artistry and final projects to life in film, music, art or research! Students have used these gifts to buy specialty clay, a new camera and a new trombone, just to name a few.

Ferrer Visiting Artist Fund

Bring world class artists to Georgia State classrooms, theatres and studios! Launched in 2022, the Fund has brought Kevin Jerome Everson, Eric Whitacre, and Dave McKenzie for mini-residencies on campus to engage deeply with students via studio visits, screenings and lectures, master classes, meet and greets and, on occasion, a mass community choir performance!

Two words: “Wow!” & “Thanks!” — Georgia State Day 2026
Apr 24, 2026

YOU DID IT!

On Georgia State Day 2026, the university asked you to give in support of GSU student opportunity. You answered…and answered in a big, BIG, record-setting way!

Your generous giving helped power Georgia State to a new giving day record — $1.35 million! This topped our previous Georgia State Day high, set just last year.

Georgia State has tremendous momentum, and your support on Georgia State Day 2026 has given the university and its students another BIG boost. You and your fellow donors have provided Panthers with vital resources that will open doors to discovery, choices, and rewarding futures. That’s impact!

On behalf of the university and its students, thank you for investing in Panther futures.  You deserve a BIG hand!
