College of Law

Since its beginning in 1982, The College of Law has offered a world-class education at an affordable price, attracting courageous, committed, and curious students. That, coupled with our rich tradition of providing diverse experiential offerings to our students has given rise to a strong group of dedicated lawyers committed to serving their communities.

Through Georgia State Law's Pro Bono program, clinics, externships, and the Centers of Law, Health & Society Access to Justice, and Metro Growth, our programs give students the essential tools to ensure the law works for everyone. They learn to improve the impact of laws and policies on the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, and dissect issues affecting urban areas, such as affordable housing. Through the clinics, our students and faculty help Georgians gain access to the legal system to resolve barriers to health, tax disputes, and immigration issues. The clinics help individuals facing the death penalty, mediate disputes between landlords and tenants, and advocate for individuals with disabilities.

Your alma mater needs your support, now more than ever, to continue our mission of producing thoughtful and responsible lawyers. Our graduates are proof of this, and our faculty and students bear witness to it.
