College of Arts and Sciences
Join us in providing our students with opportunities for high-impact research and career-empowering education

As the largest and most diverse academic unit on the downtown campus, the College of Arts & Sciences is the heart of Georgia State’s learning environment. We offer nearly 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the liberal arts and sciences across the humanities, the social and behavioral sciences, and the natural and computational sciences. Critical thinking skills, from biological sciences to languages and literature, build the foundation for every profession as they empower students to be informed, engaged citizens.

Your support ensures that our faculty and students work to find solutions to pressing, global problems that affect everyone; challenges facing urban populations, immigration, access to clean water, transcultural conflict and violence, network infrastructure and data security, literacy and challenges to language acquisition, aging, obesity, and cancer detection and treatment.
