The health informatics program brings together design, development and adoption of information technology-based innovations in healthcare services, delivery, management and planning. It offers a bachelor’s of interdisciplinary studies in health informatics, a graduate certificate in clinical health informatics, and a master of science in health sciences with a concentration in health informatics. It is the only interdisciplinary HI program in the U.S., as students take courses both in the Lewis College and the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Health informatics graduates are in high demand, finding employment with organizations such as Cerner, EPIC, Allscripts, IBM Watson Health, Change Healthcare, Emory Healthcare, Piedmont Healthcare and Wellstar Health System.
