WHERE STUDENTS BECOME ARTIST ENTREPRENEURS

As the 2021-22 academic year returns to campus, the innovation and dedication Georgia State University has become known for is on full display in the College of the Arts. Our faculty and arts programs continue to provide our students with a vibrant atmosphere of collaboration and a richly diverse learning environment.

#TheStateWay.

Join hundreds of alumni and friends in making a gift to the College of the Arts and its schools as part of Georgia State Day 2021.

Give to the new Allegro Grants Fund for our students to receive help to pay for arts-related expenses such as course fees, instrument rentals, supplies, film equipment, conferences, recitals and exhibitions, etc. This program is designed to ensure that students stay on track for graduation, excel in their courses and pursue relevant arts-related activities beyond the classroom.  Dean Wade Weast has pledged $1000, and for every 10 gifts to the College of the Arts, $100 of his gift will be unlocked!

Support the full range of what we do through a gift to the Fund for the College of the Arts. This fund allows the dean to address critical needs that arise throughout the year in any part of the college.

Visit our College of the Arts school pages to support their special projects, including a new ceramics kiln for the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design, a new Theatre Enrichment Fund at the School of Film Media & Theatre, and funds to support the School of Music choirs and their programs and performances throughout the year.

Make your gift as part of Georgia State Day 2021 which allows our College of the Arts students to pursue unique opportunities that only a major cultural center like Atlanta can offer and enables them to continue performing, creating and learning with accomplished artists, musicians, filmmakers and scholars as part of our thriving arts community.
