Georgia State Day (#TheStateDay), the university’s annual day of giving, will begin at 10 a.m. on September 28th and will continue until 7:13 p.m. on September 29th—one day, nine hours and 13 minutes, a duration chosen in honor of the university’s founding year. Last year, over 2,000 alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends made donations totaling more than $870,000. This year, our goal is to garner even more support as we continue the growth of #TheStateDay tradition and expand its impact!

What is a Georgia State Panther Advancer? 

•   Georgia State Panther Advancers are members of the Georgia State community who want to make a difference in the lives of Panther students by championing Georgia State Day and furtherance of student success at Georgia State University.
•  They are students, alumni, friends, faculty, staff and parents who will promote Georgia State Day via social media, email, phone, text and word of mouth, but will also champion efforts year round to assist University Advancement. 

Why should I be a Panther Advancer?

•    Are you a zealous student or aspiring student leader looking to make your mark at GSU?

1.    Register as a Georgia State Panther Advancer after August 3rd  

2.    Attend a Panther Advancer training session

4.    Get excited for September 28th, and make sure your fellow Panthers are just as excited as you are!
